Joel is The House Call Vet’s practice manager. Always wanting to work with animals, a stint at the local vet clinic in early high school confirmed this desire.

A rough collie (lassie) dog who my parents lay me next to after bringing me home from hospital, and who never left my side until he died at 16yrs of age from bladder cancer.

Dr Megan Jeffers graduated from the University of Queensland with her identical twin sister Dr Rachel (with first class Honours) in 2009. She spent her first few years in Adelaide working in general practice before returning to sunny Queensland to continue her career.

My first pets were two rat sisters called Remi and Poppy.

First pet I fully remember was my sheltie x Japanese Spitz, and my papillon. But had other dogs when I was a baby that I don't remember, one being a kelpie x German shepherd and the other being a border collie x

Nope! We have a tall bed so safer for him not to jump up.
What is your favourite place to stop for lunch on house calls?
Forest lake has the nice new park section that you can sit near the water and eat lunch (plus there is a bathroom)
What’s the funniest pet name you’ve come across at work?
A dog named "Dammit" the Client explained that he enjoyed calling out "dammit it come here" when he was in trouble

Dr Kayoko graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2006. Since completing her degree, she has pursued her twin passions of teaching and clinical practice.
