So we’ve put together a second offering that will keep you and your pooch busy for many weekends to come. Try a different one each week or find your favourite and become regulars who have their orders brought out to them after a look, a nod and a smile from the friendly café staff. Forget pet-friendly – this café owned by wife and husband team Louise and Josh Daly is as pet-loving as they come. The couple’s two black pugs, Bowie and Mate, make regular appearances at this warm and friendly eatery and coffee house created for humans and their furry best friends. Doggos are spoilt for choice with biscuits, donuts, ice-creams, meatballs and puppycinos all available on the menu.

This newcomer to the café scene loves dogs so much they’ve even started their own hashtag – #dogsofhoneyandbear. Since opening in September 2018, they’ve attracted a big following to their bright and stylish shed serving up delicious food such as cauliflower chickpea fritters, salami and three cheese jaffles and yummy burgers along with Single O coffee.

This delightful park-side dog-friendly café turned two in October 2018 and it’s easy to see why the locals love it. Choose from its menu of tapas, burgers and share plates and sweets such as blueberry mess or honey pear and chestnut trifle. It also made the list of Top 50 Best Brunches in Queensland. Doggos are more than welcome at this eatery run by a team of friendly and passionate staff and when you’re done, take your dog for a walk down to the Shaftesbury Street Big Dog Park nearby. Winning!
